I wonder what he thinks about when he gets quiet. Eyes cast downward, his focus on that dandelion in his hand. Everything in the world is new to him because he is a child. His spirit has not yet been stained by the trials of life. Although he is inexperienced in the art of living, there is a knowing, an understanding, that he alone possesses. He can find beauty in everything. He has no fears. He enjoys every moment just as it comes. He is never disappointed by a rainy day because rain means muddy puddles and raindrops on his nose. Bright sunshine makes the shade tree more enjoyable. Bees and bugs and kicking balls are his favorite things. He never worries about tomorrow because today is full enough.
